Glide Business

A Glide Business subscription allows you to publish Glide apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play.

After you sign up for Glide Business, we will export builds of your app for iOS and Android. Then, you can submit those to Apple and Google for approval.

You will need to supply your own media, metadata, and subscriptions for the app stores. We will supply you with downloadable copies of your app, but the rest of the process is in your hands.

Getting your app approved

Apple and Google will reject your app if it does not meet their quality, usefulness, or usability standards. You should familiarize yourself with the App Store Review Guidelines before proceeding. Pay special attention to the section on Minimum Functionality:

If your app is not particularly useful, unique, or “app-like,” it doesn’t belong on the App Store... Other than catalogs, apps shouldn’t primarily be marketing materials, advertisements, web clippings, content aggregators, or a collection of links.

We can review your app and give our opinion on whether Apple might reject your app on these grounds. If so, we can suggest changes to make your app more likely to be approved.

What if I cancel my Glide subscription after publishing an app to the store?

We'll be sad to see you go! Your app will continue to function, although we will not provide you with new builds of your app. Your app should continue to update from the Google Sheet. We may also reenable Glide branding in your app.
